Lorne Armstrong
For more than 30 years, Lorne has helped individuals, teams, and organizations take their performance to a new level. He easily helps to distill issues to their essentials, stimulates fresh insight into what’s possible, and generates practical pathways to results.
With an M. B. A. from Simon Fraser University (SFU), Lorne shares critical thinking and a willingness to say what others won’t. Both Harvard Business Review and Canadian Business Review have published his provocative views. With disruptive compassion, his ability to engage others in challenging their limiting assumptions has served clients well in a wide range of industries.
His career as an employee started with IBM in Toronto and ended in B. C.’s forest products industry before he founded Armstrong Consulting in 1998. Lorne has served as board chair of a major credit union, an EFAP service provider, an Outward Bound trustee, and as sessional faculty at SFU. He has achieved recognition by the Canadian Council of Human Resource Associations as a Fellow Certified Human Resources Professional.
Larry Kerray
Larry is a master at helping leaders and managers, at any level, integrate inspiration with accomplishment. He brings humor, insight, and fresh perspective to building an unshakable foundation of trust, while developing others’ ability to lead from their unique strengths with more power and freedom.
Throughout his career, Larry has provided practical ways to help clients take their performance to a new level in a wide range of industries from food manufacturing and services to oil and gas, utilities, and forest products. After helping a B. C. client company design and establish strategic people practices, the organization won a province-wide Award of Excellence in Human Resources in 2003 for tripling sales while improving customer service ratings by 30 per cent.
Larry is also dedicated to community service. For more than 10 years, he has served on the board of an organization that provides services to Employee and Family Assistance Programs (EFAP) and has volunteered with B. C. Children’s Hospital and other community organizations.
Marni Virtue
Specializing in leadership and team development for more than 20 years, Marni integrates inspiration with tangible results. She focuses her ability to foster trust, creativity, and engagement on helping clients navigate transitions, accomplish more with less, and develop their own and others’ unique leadership abilities.
Marni’s clients have included oil and gas companies, multinational retail, health care, utilities, and not-for-profit organizations, both in Canada and the U. S. She works with people at all levels, from front-line supervisors to senior executives, and directly with individuals. She also works closely with Contegrity Program Designs.
Marni holds a B. A. in Psychology with post-graduate studies in Communication and Group Development at the University of Calgary. She feeds her soul through her professional work and by wandering through the mountains, either on skis or with a backpack.
